This is Chad's First year as Head Tennis Coach at Coon Rapids H.S.  He had been an Assistant boys coach for the past 6 years.  Miller teaches Health at CRHS and he is entering his 30th year teaching, the past 10 at CRHS. He has also coached football and basketball at CRHS.  Chad lives in Ham Lake with his wife and 5 kids.

I currently teach Driver Education at Sandburg Regional High School.  This will be my second year at Sandburg and my twentieth year in the district. I taught at Coon Rapids HS for 10 years before moving over to Sandburg.  

 I have coached tennis on many different levels for over 30 years.  This will be my third year being the assistant coach at Coon Rapids HS. I am married and have 3 kids.  

​Coach Nelson has served as the junior varsity tennis coach for the past six seasons and is also the head softball coach at Coon Rapids High School. A former collegiate athlete at Minnesota State University Moorhead, she competed in both tennis and softball, earning MVP honors in each sport. In addition to coaching, Coach Nelson teaches Health and Physical Education at Coon Rapids High School, where she is dedicated to helping students develop lifelong skills in fitness and wellness.   

This will be my eleventh year teaching math at CRHS, my first job right out of college in 2016! I began coaching tennis shortly after in 2018. I love seeing players grow to love the sport that has also given me so much joy over the years. Outside of teaching and tennis, I love to read, travel, cheer for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Twins, and Lynx, and hike with my husband, Alex, and dog, Huck
