CRHS vs St. Francis
Tough first match of the season for the Cardinal Girls. St. Francis won 6-1. The Cardinals one victory was at 1st Double, where Junior Captain Avery Anderson and Junior Laura Syverson won in 3 sets 6-4, 5-7, 10-8, for an exciting way to end the first match!!
CRHS vs. Hibbing
Hibbing came down from the Iron Range on Saturday morning and beat the Cardinals 1-6. The only win for the Cards was from Senior Caitlin Easton. She won 6-2, 6-1.
CRHS vs. Cretin Derham Hall
The Cardinals then took on CDH. We lost the match 1-6. The highlight for the Cardinals was a tough win by Junior Teyah Miller 7-6 (7-3) 6-3 at 2nd Singles.
CRHS vs. Princeton
In the final match of the weekend the Cardinals got their first win of the weekend, beating Princeton in a close 4-3 match. Senior Catilin Easton won 6-4, 6-3. Sophomore Harper Thom won her first varsity match 7-5, 6-2. Then First doubles team Teyah Miller and Laura Syverson won 6-4, 6-1 and finally at 2nd doubles, Seniors Olivia Kivioja and Vylette Schneider won a thriller in 3 sets, 3-6, 6-4, 10-8 in the final.
